Holland Manners had a successful career as Head of Special Projects at Wolfram and Hart. He was head of the team that brought Darla back from the dead as human, and then brought Drusilla in to turn her back into a vampire. Unfortunately, in doing so he incurs the wrath of Angel whilst also playing with a large amount of fire. So when he becomes a victim of the very massacre he suggested to Darla and Drusilla, Angel not only fails to save him, but locks the lawyer and his friends into a room with the hungry vamps and leaves them to their fate. The contract with Wolfram and Hart going beyond mortal death, he does return to twist the knife further into the despondent Angel’s back, but only serves to lead him down the road to epiphany.
